The woman was at a grocery store in the lottery line when she slipped and fell on a clear material on the floor.
The woman recently filed a premises liability lawsuit against the store and is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and compensation for her medical expenses and pain and suffering. She claims employees at the store failed to take care of the clear substance and that the managers did not inspect the premises to ensure it was safe for customers. She also blames the store for not providing a safe walkway.
